What is Lakefest?  Let's start over 50 years ago when our grandparents, Val and Frank Rodowicz (and our Uncle Wayne and Loretta Agnew) discovered the pine barren paradise and purchased the land on a Lake in Medford.  The spot has been a family and friend haven every spring, summer, fall and winter:  peaceful good times on a private lake in the woods, sand, green trees all around, the sound of just the earthy surroundings and an occassional one engine plane flying high above.   We'd go every Sunday, camping as well, BBQ, canoeing, fishing, whatever you have it. 

Music has been in our family for generations and Rod (Rich Sr.) had always had the idea of a music jam, a mini concert.  We'd been playing the Philadelphia music scene from around 2002 and had some great friends, great bands and voices.  We decided to start something which has become an incredible weekend of music, jams and great times.  Sunrise to Sunset and through the starry nights.

The years have brought and continue to bring great acts to play, Brett Kull, Paul Ramsey, Ray Weston and Tom Hyatt from "Echolyn", Laura Shay, Chuck Cantalamessa, Chuck "Trunk" Kirkpatrick from "Firefall," Jeremy Hollis, Dan Collins, Katie Barbato and the Sleepwells, Jacque Varsalona, John Karp & The High Miles, Andy "MojoMan" Meehan, Sun Tornado, Cray Rail, John Breyer, the Secondhand Musicians, Dani Mari, Ed Young and so many more.  Each year gets better and better, and more music is shared throughout.  This year will once again be a great great time...come on and enjoy the ride:
